So now the PUBG Mobile has been banned in India today we will share about some other countries where people are not being able to play this popular game as it is banned there as well.
Well, not only in India, the game is immensely popular across the world. There are close to 33 million active PUBG players in India, and the news comes as a shock to gamers. However, it has come under severe criticism because of the addictive nature and its detrimental effects on the health of children.
So here are three other countries where PUBG Mobile is banned. Let’s get started.
In July 2019, the government of Jordan showed the negative effects of PUBG on the kingdom’s citizens and then finally banned it. Though hugely popular, psychologists in Jordan had repeatedly warned that the game uplifts violence and contributes to bullying among the youth. As a result the game is banned there.
Pakistan temporarily banned PUBG in July 2020 on the grounds of the addictive nature of the game. The move was taken by The Pakistan
Telecommunication Authority (PTA) after “receiving many complaints from different segments of society” on account of it being harmful to players’ health.
Iraqi banned PUBG in 2019, Fortnite, Blue Whale, and similar online video games in the country after claiming the games caused psychological and social issues to the public. The country’s parliament said that the games are harmful to society and a potential national security threat. So they banned the game.
So yeah that’s it. So we Indians are not alone in this world.
